New Two Course Lunch Menu ”Nomad”

Nomad’s lunch served from 12pm to 2pm weekdays as a $29 two course prix-fixe. Until a few month ago they didn’t have prix-fixe menu so I was coming here and spend over $50 for lunch. ( my previous Nomad’s lunch review) Me and my client we both ordered two course lunch and shared everything 🙂 I was very impress by new menu. Specially TORTELLONI with celery root & black truffle was amazing. I wasn’t excited to order chicken burger first because I thought chicken sound dry and boring but I was wrong! Burger was opposite of dry. It was incredibly juice and delicious. We had ”Milk & Honey” in the end of meal. I can never leave here without having their signature dessert. Officially Nomad is now my favorite lunch place in downtown NYC.

Wonderful Girls’ Lunch at ”The NoMad”

NoMad  1170 Broadway, b/t 27th St & 28th St in Flatiron, NYC  (347) 472-5660

I’ve been to NoMad many times, but I’ve never come during the day for lunch. I was SuPa happy to make a reservation to meet Sara ( NYCNomNom ). 🙂 Sara was working near NoMad so it was a perfect location for her to meet me for her lunch break. We first shared TAGLIOLINI WITH CLAMS, GARLIC & MEYER LEMON. Sara can’t eat chili pepper so we requested for the chef to avoid garlic and chili for our pasta. The tagliolini was still perfectly delish with a creamy & buttery sauce. Any type of clam dishes are my cup of tea because clams are my favorite!! (Which I mentioned on my Sushi Nakazawa’s post, too.) Sara ordered scallops and I chose halibut for our entrees. My halibut was perfectly cooked with my ultimate favorite bean – “F.A.V.E.” Hehehe! I love spring fava bean sauce. BUT Sara’s SCALLOPS – SEARED WITH ENGLISH PEAS, CARROTS & LEMONGRASS were even better!! It was just so pretty visually with the roasted spring vegetables. At the end of lunch, Sara pushed back her 2pm meeting to 2:30 so that we could carry on our cute lunch date and, of course, share NoMad’s famous dessert MILK & HONEY – SHORTBREAD, BRITTLE & ICE CREAM together. Along with a cappuccino for me. *\(^_^)/* I was wearing a Missioni knit dress with a bow tie necklace for this lunch.

You can see my outfit at the bottom of my photos. Always fun to dress up for a cute girls’ lunch ~ Summer is around the corner. Let’s Cute It Up 🙂
