I saw this sandwich episode on my favorite show ” Best Thing I Ever Ate” on the Food Network. Chef Anne Burrell ( I love her show on “Secrets Of A Restaurant Chef“) & Chef Aaron Sanchez were both saying that it was the best sandwich they ever ate. One afternoon I ordered deliverly and they were so right about the Grilled Pork Chop sandwich !!! It’s the BEST. Grilled pork chop, pickled carrot ,cucumber, cilantro ,jalapeno pepper in a warm french baguette. You can choose to have pate as an option but not for Cutie Patroller. Please pick up or order for lunch or a filling snack for $5.50 of guranteed heaven !!

OMG News Recently they closed this East VIllage location !!!!! I can no more order for lunch to my shop (>_<) It’s like you lost your favorite scrunchie.. it was always there and you don’t even realize how important it is untill it’s gone….. LOL. The good thing is that they have two other locations. One in the Financial District and the other one in Brooklyn.

OMG Story of today Guess what happened today!!! I met Chef Anne Burrell across the street from my shop. We talked about this sandwich. She was so sweet and she looks exacly the same from TV. What a Super Girl !! It was definitely OMG to meet her (>_<). Yay Yay

Bucket Dish at ”Scarpetta”

The last time I visited Scarpetta was 5 years ago so these photos are old. Hooooooooooold on, hold on!!!! The menu hasn’t changed much and, most importantly, even 5 years ago I ate the best dish at Scaarpetta. YES! ”Spaghetti Tomato & Basil” Even after 6 years since opening, this dish is still legendary in the culinary institute of New York City.

I expected so much that I wasn’t surprised with how wonderful this pasta was at the time of my visit. Although, I had just started my blog around that time which means I need to go back to try this pasta again for a fair judgement. Another famous #PastaPorn dish I need to try is the “Foie Gras Ravioli”. This is next on my NYC pasta dish bucket list. Stay tuned!
