Santina is a another big new restaurant from the Torrisi team. Restaurant is located on Washington Ave and corner of Little W 12th St in Meatpacking District. I was here for dinner and had four dishes. They were all very delish! I normally don’t order lobster dish but I’m glad Knifmade suggested to order. It was worth every penny 🙂 My favorite dish was Cecina (Chickpea-Flour Pancakes) with Lamb Tartare for sure.

Korean Ramen & Ho’ Cake at ”Mokbar”

The only thing that could warm me up right now is Spicy Kimchi‬ Ramen‬ at Mokbar 🍜

Mokbar is located at inside of Chelsea Market in Meatpacking District. I ate so many different kind of Ramen before yet this was my first time eating Korean Style Ramen ( except instant noodle Shin Ramyun ). Three of us shared three different kind of Ramen and a few appetizers. Also we had Saki and Marc A.K.A NY Journal had a Makgeolli #Cheers ~ 🍶

I had to try Black Ramen and Spicy Tofu Ramen as food blogger. They were very unique and delish but my favorite Ramen was Kimchi Ramen. If you’re fan of Mapo Tofu and spicy food you will love Spicy Tofu Ramen. It was #HotHotHot 🔥🔥🔥

BUT more than Ramen, more than dumplings or Disco Fries ”Ho’ Cake” was OMG delish and only $6!! I have never had a Ho’ Cake before and now I’m so in love with this cute bun with yummy dipping sauce 🙂 I started new page called ”Bucket Dish” on Tabelog (www.tabelog.usBucket Dish is a special dish that worth traveling across the world just to eat. TAO downtown 369 West 16th Street, ( corner of 9 Ave ) at Marotime Hotel, NYC

TAO Downtown opened one month ago inside the Maritime Hotel across the street from Buddakan in Meatpacking District. Buddakan has been around for quite long time as a giant Asian fusion venue. TAO is also known as the same so…. hehehe (^_^) we will see how they are going to compete with each other. If you are expecting any out of town guests, then you should take them to TAO for dinner or just cocktails. Also the place is great place to have a birthday dinner this year when it is still new & hot. The venue is impressive and entertaining. They have one main dining room and two lounge areas. I like the open lounge area in front of the sleeping Buddha statue better than the back room bar area because you can enjoy the view of the whole venue. They have walk-in table service so you don’t need to make reservation, while enjoying the full food menu. The whole venue will seat up to 400!!! TAO group is ready to make ($_$) chin-chin-chin

Ps- You MUST order Miso Glazed sea bass from appetizer!!! YUM

New Yorker move on to newer hotter spot every two years. When Buddakan first opened they were one of hottest spot in MeatPacking. You probably remember on sex in the city Carry & Mr Big had rehearsal wedding dinner. One of my friend bartend so I’m recently coming here often and I realized place is still super sexy and gorgeous. Foods are very good. Service is well done. The place is packed every night with well dressed international tourists. My favorite menu is Hoisin Glazed Pork Belly and Dungeness Crab Sticky Rice. 

Ps – Newest Stephen Starr’s restaurant Caffe Storico made it on my OMG News last year as stylish dinning in Upper West Side.

Corsino is located off the Meatpacking District in the West Village. This Italian restaurant is known for its multi choice of crostini and casual Italian dishes. Jason Denton is the award-winning restaurateur of Corsino, ‘Ino,’ Inoteca, ‘Inoteca e Liquori Bar, and Lupa all in New York City and Betto in Brooklyn. I saw them on my favorite food show ” Unique eat ” and thought how unique to have a place have so many choices of seasonal and unique crostini. In the springtime they have outside tables and inside has a great atmosphers too. I like Corsino best of all the Jason Denton’s places. Not as popular as Inoteca, near my shop in the Lower East Side, but I like that they are not super loud and packed. I’m not a hard steak eater but somehow one of the best dishes is meat !! Any of their steak or short rib specials of the day never disapoint me with an amazing sauce. Of course, if its your first time you should order plenty of the crostini for the table since that’s their signature dish. And it’s no fun sharing food if youre not clinking glasses, so make sure to order some wine because the list is very wide and fantastic (^_^)!
