Cuisine: American

Neighborhood: East Village

Occasions: I was here for lunch. Good to come here with friends.

Famous Dish: Sebastian’s Steakhouse Burger caramelized onions, cheese, pickle and fries $12

I heard so much good things about this place’s burger for a long time. Some of peoples said to me this place has the best burger in New York.  WOW! I thought………. I’m sorry but burger was not good😞 I ordered Kale salad to share and two other sandwiches. I normally love Kale salad but this salad was so boring and no flavor. I was very disappointed chicken sandwich also. I’m going to give a another chance for burger just because too many foodies told me how awesome their burger is!! Stay tuned for my second patrolling report 🚓🍴 🍔

Oiji

Oiji
New Modern Korean Restaurant ”Oiji” East Village

Co owner chef Brian Sehong Kim & TK KU

Oiji is a new modern Korean restaurant in the East Village, unlike the other Korean restaurants such as the ones in K Town. I came here for dinner Saturday with my friend Eva ( City Baby Dining ). The ambiance was very cute and cozy, perfect place for any night of the week. They have one large table in middle of restaurant for larger group (maybe for 8 to 10 peoples). Other than that they have smaller tables of 2 and 4. All the plates are tapas style and perfect for sharing. Me and Eva shared three dishes and Beef Tartare with ramp aioli was delicious and artfully crafted. Fried Chicken with spicy soy vinaigrette was good but nothing special. For sure my favorite was the Ssam Platter with spicy pork and gang-deon-jang. It was so lovely to meet two talented chefs.  Co owner chef Brian and chef TK. I will definitely be coming back to try more dishes soon 🙂
