Note: Everyone know Trofie Nero is a Bucket Dish at Ai Fiori but WOW Crudo di Passera-fluke crudo, american sturgeon caviar, meyer lemon was simple yet powerful. You should try it once. I don’t recommend steak 😦

Seat: I would definitely recommend to sit at the chef’s counter for a party of 2.

Dell’anima is one of my favorite Italian restaurant in NYC. Decor and atmosphere are nothing spacial yet cozy and really great Toscan Italian food. I sometime visit their sister restaurants, L’artusi in West Village and L’apicio in East Village but Dell’anima is still my favorite of those three restaurants. Dell’Anima is known for their pasta dishes but I never care for them. My top three dishes are CHARRED OCTOPUS rice beans, chorizo, chicories / BRANZINO IN CARTOCCIO confit potatoes, cerignola olives, citrus / SWEETBREADS rhubarb, orange, apple. Also I highly recommend sitting at the counter right in front of the kitchen to see chef Elwood and his team in action.

Neapolitan pizza ”Ribalta”

The place is pretty big and not so cute and intimate decor but I guarantee that you’ll have really good Neapolitan style pizza 🙂 I didn’t know anything about this place until recently. My friend and I were near Union Square and we randomly came here for snacks and drink. We only ordered those two dishes, Pizza and Octopus Carpaccio but WOW they were both incredibly delicious. Why no one told me about this place before and why they are not popular!!!?? I don’t know the rest of the menu but I highly recommend you to order those two dishes when you visit at  Robalta next time 🙂

Santina is a another big new restaurant from the Torrisi team. Restaurant is located on Washington Ave and corner of Little W 12th St in Meatpacking District. I was here for dinner and had four dishes. They were all very delish! I normally don’t order lobster dish but I’m glad Knifmade suggested to order. It was worth every penny 🙂 My favorite dish was Cecina (Chickpea-Flour Pancakes) with Lamb Tartare for sure.
