Spanish Tapas ”Sol”

Sol is a new Spanish tapas restaurant in underneath cocktail bar Bourgeois Pig in Greenwich Village. Atmosphere is casual, dark and sexy. The restaurant itself only 16 stool plus a one small high table in the middle. I sat at the chef’s counter right in front of the kitchen which gives you full view of the small, open kitchen where chef owner D’Ambrosi and his sous chef were working away. I tried 5 different dishes and everything was really delicious and it was beyond my expectation. My favorite thing was Langoustine – Egg Yolk, Matchstick Potato, Crustacean Sauce.

Occassion: I was here for dinner.

Seat: I recommend to sit at the chef’s counter.
