Kaiseki at ”EN Japanese Brasserie”
I came to patrol two different kind of Kaiseki dinner menu plus Saki & Shochu accompaniments with blogger friend Jay A.K.A. DishelinGuide. Kaiseki is a traditional multi-course Japanese dinner and each course served on an individual tray. If you’re expecting Sushi Omakase then EN is not the right type of Japanese restaurant. I can’t remembered the name of my Kaiseki course ($70) but clearly Jay’s Sakura course ($105) was so much better than mine. I’m not the biggest tofu fan but it is one of the specialties here. Lobster & Sakura Hapa Kamameshi was definitely one of my favorite dishes here.We sat at open kitchen counter and it was cozy and perfect. Atmospher and decor of restaurant were elegant, modern yet zen. This place is great for date night and also classy enough to come with parents.
