The Best Lunch 2014 at “JUNI”


The Best Lunch Patrolling Ever at JUNI *\(^_^)/* You need to go have lunch at JUNI asap!!!!!! I just had one of the best lunches there the other day!!! I don’t use “the best” all that often, but I am today!!! I came here last November for a four course dinner ($90). Dinner was great, but this business lunch was even better with the company of Restaurant Fairy and The Lord Of The Forks. The place was completely empty, but who cares!!! After this blog post I am pretty sure that it is going to be very hard to make a reservation! haha ~ Anyway~ Anyhow ~ The three of us ordered the three course lunch which was only $35 each. Don’t you just love a lunch course?! You get to feel luxurious having a nice lunch during the week AND you get an unbelievable deal. My food photos below are of all three orders. Since the three of us are food bloggers we don’t mind taking the time to snap photos and, of course, share bites! My three courses consisted of: Appetizer; chickweed – spring potato gnocchi – peekytoe crab Entree; roe – atlantic salmon – lemon essence for the entree Dessert; chocolate – jasmine – grapefruit – pistachio for dessert. The food was elegant, beautifully presented, and (best of all) tasty. To top off our yummy lunch we met Chef Shaun Hergatt and we discussed his creations to try and understand his vision. We all had extra mustard blossoms – goat agnolotti – local ramps. Complements of the chef! He said the dinner menu is very different from my last visit in November. I was surprised to see that they have a 25 course menu!!! I have never heard of 25 courses before. I can’t wait to go back to JUNI soon. This is the best lunch patrolling this year. (^_^) You might need to take a personal day next week so that you can try this lovely lunch!! Gooooooood Luck! xo
